Apps for America 比賽，優勝者出爐!

Sunlight Foundation 舉辦的第一屆 Apps for America 的比賽競爭相當激烈，有超過 40 個開放原始碼應用軟體，嘗試開放政府資訊、並為立法部門提供新的溝通方式。參賽者包羅萬象，從高技術含量的貝氏預測工具（Words Vote）、到非常簡單卻有用的 GovPix，都是開放原始碼的作品，最後選出十六名得獎者。

第一名：獎金 $15,000美元
Filibusted: 「為阻斷立法舉行責任參議員」“Hold senators accountable for blocking legislation.”

第二名：獎金 $5,000美元
Legistalker: 「最新的線上行動國會議員」“The latest online activity of Congress Members.”

第三名：獎金$1,000 (4名)
